Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HE Ahmed Bin Nasser Al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism, in the field of tourism at the Foreign Ministry’s premises on Monday.
The honorary consulate building for Belarus in the Sultanate was also opened during the occasion.
Earlier, Makei also held talks with HE Yousef Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs. Both leaders reviewed existing ties in political, economic and commercial fields and discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by HE Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, HE Mohammed Bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary at the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Hinai, Head of East Europe Administration, HE Dr Sergei Rachkov, the non-resident accredited Ambassador of Belarus to the Sultanate, and the Belarusian ministers accompanying delegation.
