Haya Water presents gifts to kids in hospital

Haya Water has carried out ‘Let us make them happy’ campaign which aims to visit children undergoing treatment in hospitals and provide Eid gifts to them, says a press release.

The campaign was carried out this year at Nizwa Hospital, where Haya Water team distributed gifts and Eidia (small amounts of money) which were donated by Haya Water and its staff.

The event included artistic and cultural activities which brought joy and happiness and drew smiles on the faces of admitted children in different wards of the hospital.

Hanan Yousef Al Balushi, corporate communication manager at Haya Water, said: “As a reflection of its significant role in implementing the wastewater projects and part of its social responsibility to support the society, Haya Water ensured to be present at various events and share the society, with all its various segments, the joy of Eid. In addition, the company through such events spread awareness about its message in preserving the public health and protecting the environment from pollution.”

Hanan Al Balushi said that Haya Water continues its humanitarian and community activities through its contributions to support various significant events and activities, since these activities will positively affect the admitted children and draw lovely smiles on their faces.

She said that after the success of the previous charity activities done by the company, Haya Water carried out this initiative to ensure sharing the joy of Eid with admitted children in Nizwa Hospital through organising various activities and distributing gifts and Eidia which were donated and collected by the company and its staff.

She also said: “I would like to thank the company’s management for its commitment and care to participate in such events. Moreover, I would like to thank Haya Water employees for their support, donations and contributions which had a positive impact on the success of this event,” the release added.
